Events for 2024-2025
Here is the list of our lectures for this coming year starting in October 2024. Our lectures are normally held in Devizes Town Hall but from October to February inclusive they will be held in the Ceres Hall, on the ground floor of the Corn Exchange, due to repairs to the Town Hall roof. Update December 2024
Our final lecture of 2024 brought us some strange and unknown seasonal tales from Wiltshire and England’s other haunted areas. Kirsty Hartsiotis was a fine storyteller, linking some tales here to ones from a cross the world! Seasonal Spookiness aside, it was a happy sit by the ‘fireside’ and listen to the unexpected and unexplained.
So ends our very popular and successful year. Our thanks to the committee and their work that brought us such choice and enjoyment.
Thanks also to you, our members, for your important support and spreading the good news of what our society is all about.

WELCOME TO THE ARTS SOCIETY DEVIZES
We are a member of The Arts Society, a leading arts charity, and are based in Devizes, Wiltshire.

Except during August and September, we meet every third Wednesday of the month to hear an inspiring lecture from one of the country’s leading arts experts. Topics cover a wide range of interests from architecture and china to painting and sculpture and much more besides. Our lectures now take place in the larger space of the Ceres Hall in the Corn Exchange in Devizes Market Place.
